How do inmates smuggle drugs into prison?
Q. I recently saw 'lockdown' and learned that there are drug trades among inmates. Of course the supply comes from outside connections but how do they manage to smuggle the drug(s) pass the guards? I recently became quite interested in this and I've searched and found people: used pigeons insert drugs into vagina and/or anals areas during visits! Thats crazy! What are some wacked up ways that inmates attempt? Thank you. -me and my harmless curiousity.

A. As a former prison guard I have seen or heard of these methods of smuggling drugs. Diapers - I have heard of people putting drugs in the diapers of infants brought to visitation. Stamps - Some people place black tar heroin on the back of stamps and mail them to inmates. Throwing over the fence - Visitors have been known to toss drugs and other contraband over the fence into the prison yard where an inmate picks it up later. Staff - staff sometimes bring drugs and other contraband into the prispon. Inside Property - some inmates get property mailed to them from family and friends ... things like televisions ... etc. Sometimes drugs are hidden inside. Internally - sometimes inmates will smuggle drugs internally inside either their… [cont.]

Are there alternative treatment to drugs for getting rid of negative thoughts and "anxiety" dreams?
Q. Thank you to those who respondedd to my question about Ativan. It appears that drugs are OK for a quick fix situation but a no-no over time (longer than 3 months). It appears all these drug remedies are wolves in sheep clothing. That begs the question what the alternatives to drugs are?

A. You need to read this natural medicine manual; God's Medicine Is Best by Linda Wise. Lots of natural remedies...you may find this book in your local library. If you are interested what the dreams mean, go to: www.ancientdreamreader.co m

What sort of illegal drugs could be found in professional establishments?
Q. By this I mean, what sort of drugs which are illegal at street level, could be found in professional establishments such as a pharmacy or a clinic? This is because of some research I am trying to do about drugs for my Personal Social Development class. Also can I have specific examples, with the drug name, and the sort of establishment it would be found in.

A. Any prescribed drug that is not prescribed for you is "illegal at street level", so pharmacies are chock full of those. Controlled substances are kept locked away so they are harder to get hold of, and records are maintained to track where they go. Clinics tend not to have much in the way of drugs that would be used to get high, but from what I've seen on this forum, people will try just about anything. Clinics tend to have samples brought in by drug companies, and they are not allowed to give controlled substances out. If anything, they have coupons for those drugs. Surgery centers have controlled substances (midazolam, fentanyl, morphine, meperidine, Percocet) but those are kept in double locked cabinets and have to be signed out by… [cont.]
