GNU Free Documentation License I'm waking up to dreams of committing suicide, what can I do to get rid of these dreams? Q. I have been having repeated dreams of committing suicide. The dreams don't actually involve the final event of pulling the trigger, but they do involve holding a gun to my head. I'm waking up to these dreams and they are interfering with my ability to get a good nights rest. I have a therapist and a psychiatrist. I also am on anti-depressants already. Watch some funny movies, or read a funny or pleasant story. It sounds corny, but I love to read Reminisce magazine and learn about the lives that my parents and grandparents lived. It's lighthearted reading that doesn't evoke any negative thought patterns. Also, don't eat anything after 8 in the evening. Now, tell yourself over and over "I would never do something stupid like kill myself". Do this for several days. Say it with conviction. Before you go to bed, thank God for all of your blessings. Recently my dreams are become scary. I had a dream last week about crashing into a red car, and in the same dream I dreamt about a dead baby at the side of the bathtub. Weird or what, that was on the Friday night on Saturday when I was coming home from work I saw a car crash involving a red car as I was turning right, in the dream I was turning right too. On Sunday I was watching Trial and retribution and what comes up only a story line about a baby drowned. There are lot more dreams but these freaked me out the most. I know this can be hard, as there is a lot of wrongdoing in the world. Everyone has a psychic sense, it just needs to be awakened. So now, you'll need to remember these negative images that you saw can be taken as some form of message from the spirit world. Next time you have a bad dream or thought like that at any time, watch out, and try to do anything you can to prevent it happening. The psychic world is a hard world to get your head round, but develop your powers. You'll be glad you did. May I recommend reading a book by Derek Acorah? Q. I've had a few myself. When I was 14 we lost our cat, and he showed up 4 years later. I had constant dreams that I found him again. One time I even had a dream that I found him, then I got disappointed because I knew I was only dreaming and it wasn't real. One time after my friend and I watched the movie Ted Bundy.
