what is the debate over the admissibility of forensic evidence in court?
Q. this particular issue deals with the Daubert and Frye standards of forensic law

A. There is no debate. In Federal Court, trial judges are required to assure that scientific or other expert evidence and testimony is relevant and reliable. The following is from Wikipedia: In Daubert, the Supreme Court ordered federal trial judges to become the gatekeepers of scientific evidence. Trial judges now must evaluate proffered expert witnesses to determine whether their testimony is both relevant and reliable ; a two-pronged test of admissibility. The relevancy of a testimony refers to whether or not the expert s evidence fit the facts of the case. For example, you may invite an astronomer to tell the jury if it was a full moon on the night of a crime. However, the astronomer would not be allowed to testify if the… [cont.]

Not sure which degree to use to apply law schools?
Q. Hi all, I'm thinking going back to school. 1. Do I HAVE to apply school using my MS degree which has lower GPA (3.3 computer science) than my undergraduate GPA (3.8 business)? 2. Is there different fields in JD? Since I have computer science background and I'm an immigrant who speaks other language, I might go for either computer forensics or immigration law. Thank you. Thank you Telewee for your answer. To answer your doubt about my morality, I'm asking this question is because law schools only require a bachelor degree, I don't know if it's required to present all the schools you've even attended or not. If it's required, I'm gladly present that; or else, someone could always choose the best options in front of him/her.

A. 1. You are required to give information about all of the schools you have attended. (I took one class at another school, and although it was affiliated with my university and appeared on my main transcript, I still had to get a transcript from the other college...so that law schools could know that I got an A in ballet.) It shouldn't affect you too much though because in calculating your admissions index, most schools will recognize that graduate programs are more difficult than undergrad and use your undergrad GPA in the interest of fairness. That is something you can ask individual schools; just contact their admissions office. 2. The JD is a general degree. As such, you do not need to "major" in anything. I would recommend going to law… [cont.]
